The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence provides the automotive repair industry with technical certification.

Techs attend classes and undergo rigorous testing for 8 different levels of certification: (1) Engine repair, (2) Automatic Transmissions/Transaxles, (3) Manual Drivetrain and Axles, (4) Suspension and Steering, (5) Brakes, (6) Electrical/ Electrical Systems, (7) Heating and Air Conditioning, and (8) Engine Performance. A master certified technician has passed all 8 of these tests. We always have several master certified ASE techs on our staff. Techs must be recertified every four years with ASE, so our techs attend classes every year.
The Automotive Service Association advances the professionalism and excellence of the automotive repair industry through education, representation and member services.
