The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence
provides the automotive repair industry with technical certification.
Techs attend classes and undergo rigorous testing for 8 different levels
of certification: (1) Engine repair, (2) Automatic Transmissions/Transaxles,
(3) Manual Drivetrain and Axles, (4) Suspension and Steering, (5) Brakes,
(6) Electrical/ Electrical Systems, (7) Heating and Air Conditioning, and
(8) Engine Performance. A master certified technician has passed all 8 of
these tests. We always have several master certified ASE techs on our staff.
Techs must be recertified every four years with ASE, so our techs attend
classes every year. |
